Josh Ellsworth Named Chief Revenue Officer at GroupeSTAHL

Ellsworth has been with the heat transfer material and equipment maker since 1998 and has made a name for himself as an educator in the decorated-apparel industry.

Josh Ellsworth is rising in the ranks at GroupeSTAHL, a St. Clair, MI-based company that specializes in heat-transfer materials and equipment. Ellsworth, who’s been with the supplier for a quarter of a century, was recently named chief revenue officer.

In the role, Ellsworth leads all global sales and marketing efforts for GroupeSTAHL brands, which includes Stahls’ (asi/88984) and Transfer Express (asi/91804). He’ll also focus on developing and executing corporate strategic planning to meet revenue goals and oversight of customer-facing technology solutions.

During his extensive career at GroupeSTAHL, he has held a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, he worked as executive vice president of sales and marketing. He’s been in leadership or support positions in maintenance, sales and production at Stahls’, serving in jobs that include general manager of Stahls’ Cad-Cut Direct, general manager of Stahls’ TV and vice president of dealer sales.

Ted Stahl, executive chairman of the board for GroupeSTAHL, said in a blog post that Ellsworth’s “growth within the company is inspiring.”

“For those of us who have had the privilege of watching Josh’s journey unfold over the years, this step comes as a natural progression driven by his dedication, leadership skills and an unmatched understanding of our industry,” Stahl added.

A trusted expert in the field of heat printing, Ellsworth has long been an educator in the space. He’s created, written and/or been featured in more than 1,000 education videos. One of his industry-related YouTube videos has more than 1 million views.

“His ability to connect with people, to truly understand their needs and to develop solutions that address challenges has set him apart as a true mentor within our organization,” Stahl said.
