Aprons, Etc. Names New VP of Sales

Richelle Merckle has a background in manufacturing sales.

Richelle Merckle says she once negotiated and closed a deal with Surplus Warehouse that led to a revenue increase from $300,000 in 2013 to $2.2 million in 2018 for bathroom products manufacturer MAAX Bath.

It’s just one example of the wins Merckle scored during her nearly 15-year career in manufacturing-related sales, where she accrued a track record of success that’s convinced promotional products supplier Aprons, Etc. (asi/36558) that she’s the right leader to become the company’s vice president of sales.

Aprons, Etc. just announced that it has appointed Merckle to that VP role.

“Richelle’s arrival is a pivotal moment for Aprons, Etc.,” said the supplier’s CEO Jeffrey Hoffman. “Her wealth of knowledge and leadership skills will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.”

In business since 1985, Aprons, Etc. specializes in manufacturing and supplying aprons, uniform apparel, drinkware, and event/trade show displays.

“I’m excited to start on this journey with the remarkable team at Aprons, Etc.,” Merckle said. “I truly can’t wait to start building relationships with our esteemed distributors. I’ve always had a laid-back sales approach, and my ultimate goal is to be the kind of person our customers trust wholeheartedly.”

Merckle was previously an account executive for Elite Flooring Inc., and an account manager for The Henderson Agency, where her responsibilities included representing brands like SmartScreen, MAAX and Superior Pumps.

“As we head into the highly anticipated fourth quarter of 2023, Richelle’s leadership promises to steer our sales team toward even greater success,” Aprons, Etc. said in a statement. “With Richelle at the helm of our sales division, we are confident in our ability to continue delivering exceptional value to our distribution partners, ensuring that Aprons, Etc. remains a preferred partner in the promotional product industry.”
