Inktavo Acquires SignTracker

Inktavo already provides software solutions for apparel decorators and promotional products distributors. Now, it can also help sign shops through SignTracker’s platform.

Inktavo says it’s expanding the range of solutions it provides and the types of businesses it serves through a just-announced strategic acquisition.

The private equity-backed company, which already delivers software solutions for apparel decorators, promo products distributors and branded-merch businesses, has purchased SignTracker, a management software platform for sign shops. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

InkSoft, Printavo, GraphicsFlow and now SignTracker are all part of Inktavo.

Executives said SignTracker’s capabilities will be integrated into the Inktavo portfolio. Through SignTracker, sign shops can centrally manage their operations, with help on job costing, estimating, invoices, customer relationship management and analytics.

“Inktavo is excited to welcome SignTracker into our family of solutions,” said James Armijo, CEO of Inktavo. “We recognize the value that SignTracker brings to the sign industry. Our vision is to enable branded-merchandise businesses to sell and produce a broad range of apparel, promotional products and signage.”

In the short-term, Inktavo is focused on ensuring a smooth transition for SignTracker customers. The firm plans to develop new features and product updates that meet the evolving needs of sign shops, executives noted.

“We are pleased to be joining forces with the Inktavo team,” said Joe Arenella, co-founder of SignTracker. “This new partnership will provide sign shop owners with even more support resources while maintaining our commitment to customer care.”

Inktavo includes InkSoft, an e-commerce platform; Printavo, a shop-management solution; and GraphicsFlow, a graphics-productivity solution. In early 2022, private equity firms PSG and Blue Star Innovation Partners (BSIP) acquired InkSoft and Printavo, merging the two former competitors to create Inktavo.
