ASB Says 2022 Sales Are Exceeding $350 Million

The value of stock shares held by the Top 40 distributor’s employee-owners has increased 37%.

It’s been a banner year for American Solutions for Business (ASB, asi/120075).

The Top 40 promotional products distributor has shared with ASI Media that total company sales for 2022 are exceeding $350 million.

The vast majority of that business has been generated in North America, said Taylor Borst, director of marketing, events and public relations at the Glenwood, MN-based company.

ASB’s reported North American promo sales in 2021 were $244.3 million, putting the annual revenue rise between that year and 2022 at approximately 43% – a figure that could change a pinch once final specific dollar counts for the year and domestic vs. global sales are tallied.

Regardless, the theme is clear: ASB’s business has been robust.

“It’s exciting to see the direction we’re moving as a company,” said ASB President Justin Zavadil, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the industry’s most influential people. “Together as a team, we’ve surpassed the goals that we set for this fiscal year. We attribute it to the hard work and dedication of our amazing salespeople, home office team and vendors.”

Those employees are indeed benefitting from their labor. The majority of home office and sales associates at ASB are employee-owners, said Borst. As such, they hold private stock in the company. Thanks to a strong 2022, ASB’s stock share value has increased 37%.

“This makes an incredible impact on all owners within American,” said Bill Finley, vice president of finance.

Founded in 1981, American Solutions for Business ranks eighth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
