The acquisition will allow the distributor to add copy and paper printing to its diverse mix of services.

Adventure Advertising (asi/109459), a distributorship based in Rockport, ME, has purchased Good Impressions, a copy and print shop based in Rockland, ME. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Good Impressions, in business for more than 30 years, offers printing and copy services. Owner Dana Start has been a fixture in the printing community for nearly 50 years, offering photocopy services and the printing of booklets, newsletters, town reports, business cards, brochures and more.

Start, who’s retiring, said it was important to him that Adventure Advertising had a reputation for good customer service and quality. “I’m glad to see them step in to ensure my services continue and my customers can still get the printing options they need locally,” Start shared.

Adventure Advertising will continue the copy and printing operations of Good Impressions at its current location in Rockland. It will also offer additional products and services that include signs, banners, vehicle graphics, boat lettering, screen printing and embroidery, laser engraving, and advertising and graphic services.

“We work to offer all of the printing and advertising services that Mid-Coast Maine businesses need, and the addition of copy and paper printing services makes sense for our customers,” read a statement from Dale Landrith, president of Adventure Advertising.

Landrith continued: “The acquisition of Good Impressions allows us to offer more options for restaurant menu printing, quick turnaround business cards, brochures, town reports and mailers in-house, and to improve our turnaround times and pricing.”

Dale and Alyssa Landrith purchased Adventure Advertising in 2019 from long-time owners Joseph and Virginia Ryan. In 2020, the distributor purchased Crowning Touch Embroidery to add additional custom apparel options for local customers. The company has grown from eight employees on its team in 2019 to 11.
