Koozie Group Promotes Rachel Rosario

Rosario, now the senior director of marketing and communication, has been with the Top 40 supplier for five years. She was formerly with Best Buy and Home Shopping Network.

There’s a new marketing leader at Koozie Group (asi/40480), but she’s a familiar face at the Top 40 promotional products supplier.

The Clearwater, FL-based firm announced May 18 that Rachel Rosario has been promoted to senior director of marketing and communications.

Rosario rises to the role having been with Koozie Group for five years. Her previous positions at the company include director of retail and brand strategy, senior vendor relations manager and senior product marketing manager.

In her new role, Rosario has responsibility for marketing initiatives across all of Koozie Group’s channels and business units.

Rachel’s “leadership and experience make her a great fit for this position, and we are excited that she is leading our marketing efforts and strategies going forward,” said Melissa Ralston, Koozie Group’s chief revenue officer and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people.

Koozie Group said Rosario has more than 15 years of marketing experience. She began her career in product marketing as a merchant/buyer with Best Buy Corporate. She then became an assistant buyer at the Home Shopping Network, before later taking the position of director of marketing with the National Mango Board.

This background, coupled with her experience in the promo industry, has prepared her well for new position, executives said.

“Over the past five years, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in projects that immersed me in all aspects of the promotional products industry,” Rosario said. “I’m excited to take these learnings, along with my previous marketing experience, and continue building our supplier presence so that we can help our distributors grow through us.”

With reported 2020 North American promotional product revenue of $255 million, Koozie Group ranked seventh on Counselor’s most recent list of the industry’s largest suppliers. Counselor’s 2022 Top 40 list will be revealed this July.
