“With her extensive background, Liza has the ideal vision of what is needed to ensure future growth,” the distributorship said in a statement.

That background includes time with Top 40 companies on both the supplier and distributor side of the promo business. Prior to joining K&B, Sachs was a national sales manager with IMAGEN Brands (asi/93990), a Top 40 firm when it was acquired in 2020 by fellow Top 40 company Koozie Group (asi/40480).

Before IMAGEN, Sachs was southeast regional vice president for HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000) – the industry’s largest distributorship. Beginning her career in promo in 1996, she was a national account manager with BIC Graphic North America/Norwood (now rebranded to Koozie Group) from the late 1990s to 2012. She also spent time as an account director with Top 40 distributor Summit Group (asi/339116).

Meanwhile, Baker is now in his 25th year with Kaeser & Blair. Prior to the COO promotion, he was most recently director of information technology for the firm. He’s been responsible for building and managing the technological infrastructure of K&B’s systems.

“Scott has been instrumental in developing operational policies and has been involved in all internal departments with a vision for the future state of the operation,” the company said.

Based on reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $94.8 million, Kaeser & Blair ranked 23rd on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.

Kaeser & Blair is a family-owned business that’s been in continuous operation since 1894. The firm began life as the Cincinnati Printing and Paper Products Co. in Cincinnati, OH.
