Baltimore Glassware Decorators Has Closed

The supplier had specialized in branded drinkware.

Baltimore Glassware Decorators has gone out of business.

A leader with the former Maryland-based promotional products supplier confirmed to ASI that the company closed earlier in June due to what was described as “unforeseen circumstances.”

Baltimore Glassware Decorators’ Google Business Profile lists the firm as “permanently closed.”

Calls, emails and social media inquiries to former owner Brian D. Sommers Jr. were not returned.

The company’s products are no longer available in ESP and ESP+.

Baltimore Glassware Decorators’ website describes the company as family-owned-and-operated since 1977. The firm said it was a corporate member of the Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators.

Baltimore Glassware had specialized in embellishing drinkware like beer glasses, wine glasses, tiki glasses and mugs. It also offered tumblers.

While still active, Baltimore Glassware Decorators had a five-star review in ESP. Still, recent reviews on the firm’s Google My Business page reflected customer frustration of late. In a post from several days ago, one reviewer wrote that the firm “promised a 7- to 10-day turnaround; it is now going on day 34 and no one will answer my emails, phone calls or anything.”

ASI Media will share additional details should they become available.
