$30 Million Printing/Promo Firm Expanding With New Production Building

Vivid Ink Graphics says a rise in branded apparel business is fueling the need to expand.

An increase in corporate apparel sales is a primary reason that a commercial printer/promo products distributor projecting $30 million in total revenue this year is expanding with a new additional production building, executives said.

Vivid Ink Graphics (asi/352731) is constructing the 5,300-square-foot standalone facility at its headquarters in Baton Rouge, LA. The firm aims to have the new space open by December 2023.

“The growth in corporate apparel business is driving the expansion,” said Stephen St. Cyr, president/owner of Vivid Ink Graphics.

St. Cyr said that 4,300 square feet of the facility will be used for conducting decoration/production work, such as embroidery and screen printing. Pad printing will also be part of that operation.

Vivid Ink Graphics will use the remaining 1,000 square feet as additional space for handling vehicle wraps – another service the firm offers customers. “The building,” St. Cyr said, “will be just for production.”

Vivid Ink Graphics provides a range of solutions, including banners, large format graphics, custom fabric printing, custom labels, vehicle wraps, promo products, branded apparel, film production graphics, point of purchase goods, custom wall coverings and more.

St. Cyr told ASI Media that the company has grown rapidly in recent years and is forecasting total sales to reach about $30 million in 2023. Vivid Ink Graphic’s customers run the gamut from local and regional businesses to national/international brands that have included Coca-Cola and BASF.
