Zing Manufacturing Debuts Redesigned Website

The online destination has features that include high-definition product images and real-time order tracking.

Zing Manufacturing (asi/99025), an Arizona-based promotional products supplier, has debuted a new website that features high-definition product images, real-time order tracking, a search-by-color feature and a new distributor marketing tool kit.

In addition, the redesigned zingmfg.com also boasts curated product collections to showcase brands like S’well, Built and Anker. The supplier said the site includes enlarged product images that are sized for end-buyer presentations. The site also has navigation menus that offer new ways to find product ideas faster, according to Zing.

“Not only was it paramount to elevate the look and feel of Zing’s website to showcase our top-retail drinkware collection and new, in-stock headphones and Bluetooth speakers, but it was necessary to build a trusted back-office solution for distributors with access to real-time order status and tracking,” said Zing Vice President Rob Watson.

According to Zing, the enhanced site features new product pages that provide instant access to details that distributors need to make informed decisions. These include enlarged high-resolution product images, real-time inventory, product specs, and one-click quote and virtual sample requests.

Zing executives noted that the site was built using API end points from PromoStandards, a technology-focused nonprofit organization committed to improving supply chain and transactional efficiencies in the promo industry. “Our belief is that we should use the same data set to power our new website to constantly share accurate, dependable details, 24/7,” Watson said.

The supplier developed the website with the help of input from industry focus groups. Zing also studied what it described as best-in-class design, usability and workflow practices from top retailers. The firm said features that include artificial intelligence are in the works.

“Zing intends to use its new website as a self-service tool for distributors to place orders, engage with a new LIVE chat feature, check order status and tracking information, and submit decorated orders in just a few clicks,” the company said.

Beyond building a new website, Zing has been busy of late partnering with retail brands.

The firm became the exclusive supplier of S’well drinkware to promo in 2021. Last year, Zing announced a partnership that enabled the company to sell Built drinkware and bags in the branded merchandise market. Then in January the supplier revealed it would be selling wireless chargers, power banks, Bluetooth speakers, earbuds and headphones from Anker.

Aside from the focus on top products and brands, Zing recently upgraded its warehousing and fulfillment services, on-demand printing and personalization, and robotic automation technology. According to Watson, these efforts and investments have significantly enhanced Zing’s suite of services while substantially reducing turn-times.
