The Bright Side: Eversole Run Donates Over $200K in New Polos to Goodwill

The Columbus, OH-based promotional products supplier says it was their largest-ever charitable donation.

Custom apparel supplier Eversole Run (asi/53040) just made its largest-ever donation, providing Goodwill Columbus with more than $200,000 worth of brand-new, polybagged polo shirts.

Eversole Run donated more than $200,000 worth of new polo shirts to Goodwill Columbus.

“We’ve had a couple of good years, and we were able to share our fortune,” Eversole Chief Operating Officer Beverly Fields said of the donation. “[Goodwill] holds a special place in our hearts. They do such good work with finding new vocations for people and helping them get back on their feet.”

Last year, Fields said, Eversole donated more than $100,000 in apparel to the nonprofit. A representative from Goodwill Columbus said the donated shirts sold out at its store within hours. “They were so excited that we donated again,” Fields added.

Store sales are used to provide services to people with developmental disabilities and other barriers in the Columbus area, according to Goodwill’s website. Goodwill Columbus has been servicing the central Ohio region since 1939. It employs more than 1,000 people.

The donated polo shirts from Eversole were brand-new, many of them styles that have been discontinued or phased out of the promotional products supplier’s catalog, according to Fields. “We wanted to find a good home for them,” she added.
