SnugZ USA Partners With MPOWERD

The Top 40 supplier will be selling MPOWERD’s inflatable, solar-powered “Luci” light products in the promo market. Items include a lantern and a power bank base.

SnugZ USA (asi/88060) has forged a new partnership that it believes will help light up end-clients’ brands – literally.

The West Jordan, UT-based Top 40 supplier has struck a deal to carry select products from retail brand MPOWERD, a B Corp that has built corporate responsibility into its business model. The products are inflatable and solar powered. They include a waterproof lantern, a power bank base light that provides 360 lumens of white LED illumination, and a flame-free, wick-free, wax-free candle.

“I love the MPOWERD brand and passion and purpose behind the product,” said SnugZ Chief Revenue Officer Brittany David, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the industry’s most influential people. “They have such cool products that people don’t already have and will want to hang on to.”

By earning the hard-to-achieve B Corp certification, MPOWERED is demonstrating that it meets high ethical standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency on factors that include employee benefits, charitable giving, supply chain practices and input materials. The company releases annual reports on its positive impacts.

SnugZ USA said that MPOWERD provides options to make positive environmental/social impacts with purchases. Products sold can help provide clean energy to “people around the world who need it most,” SnugZ said. Causes supported include disaster relief, improving community health and safety, and education initiatives.

MPOWERD works with more than 700 NGOs and nonprofits. Through these partners, MPOWERD distributes clean energy options that provide a more economical and environmentally friendly approach to everyday tasks, the company said.

“We are excited to partner with SnugZ,” said LJ Cottrell, director of sales at MPOWERD. He said the firm’s “solar-powered lighting products, Luci lights, are for use around the home and on any outdoor adventure, such as camping and backpacking. With their aesthetic packaging and plethora of uses, Luci lights are ideal gifts for any season.”

SnugZ also recently partnered with ZipSip, a brand whose namesake product acts as an adjustable holder for beverages. Thanks to zippers on each side, the ZipSip sleeve can be adjusted to allow users to fit cans, pint glasses, solo cups and other drink containers of varying sizes. Through the partnership, SnugZ will be selling ZipSip to the promo market.

With reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $105 million, SnugZ ranked 13th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
