Gemline Partners With Govino & Out of the Woods

The brands produce eco-conscious products that the Top 40 promo products supplier believes will be in demand as end-buyers increasingly seek more sustainable options.

Gemline’s (asi/56070) product portfolio just got a little greener.

The Lawrence, MA-based Top 40 promotional products supplier has announced partnerships with what it described as two eco-conscious brands – Out of the Woods and govino.

Out of the Woods specializes in reusable bags and insulated coolers made from “Supernatural Paper,” which uses tree cellulose sourced from responsibly managed forests, that are FSC-Certified (FSC C153080). Gemline said the products are washable, durable, sustainable and made from quality eco-friendly materials.

Out of Woods specializes in reusable bags and coolers made from “Supernatural Paper,” which uses tree cellulose sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Meanwhile, govino produces Made-in-the-USA drinkware glasses, particularly for wine, that Gemline said are shatterproof, reusable and sustainable. Still, the term “glasses” is a bit of misnomer, as the drinking vessels contain no glass. Instead, they’re made from food-safe, BPA-free polymer that reflects a wine’s color and “projects its aromatics much like fine crystal,” according to Gemline.

Govino glasses, now available from Gemline, are made from food-safe, BPA-free polymer that reflects a wine’s color.

The “govino products are the sustainable alternative to single-use plastic cups,” the supplier said.

Out of the Woods products will be available in February, as part of Gemline’s new Spring 2022 Collection, while govino items are already available.

Gemline said that partnering with such brands helps advance its corporate social responsibility mission, which focuses on making a positive impact on society, the environment and company stakeholders.

“As part of our commitment to building a sustainable future, it is important to partner with brands that offer quality products and impact the world through sustainable practices and eco-friendly products,” said Frank Carpenito, president of Gemline. “We believe these new partnerships will offer our customers the wide array of eco-conscious gifting and retail brand options they are seeking.”

With reported 2020 North American promotional product revenue of $115.5 million, Gemline ranked 12th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. Founded in 1958, Gemline was also Counselor’s 2021 Supplier of the Year.
