Velocity Print Acquires The Bajan Group

The deal involves two promo/print companies headquartered in New York.

The acquisitions in the promotional products industry keep on coming.

Velocity Print (asi/351432), a distributor with operations around the Northeast, announced that it has acquired The Bajan Group. Financial terms of the deal between the two New York-headquartered businesses were not released.

Going forward, the combined company will operate under Velocity Print. The Bajan Group staff will continue with the firm, executives said.

“We are excited to welcome The Bajan Group employees and clients into Velocity,” said Dave Benny, president of Velocity. “This merger will open opportunities for Velocity to expand our client base and offer additional products and services to Bajan’s clients. The synergy between the companies is fantastic, and the transition seamless.”

Founded in 1986, Velocity has representatives in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida. Describing itself as a print-on-demand and direct-mail service firm, Velocity provides a suite of solutions to clients nationally, including promotional products, print, distribution/fulfillment and custom online stores. Key end-markets the company sells to include financial, higher education and nonprofit.

Founded in 1990, The Bajan Group, Inc. is described as a print distributor and print management company whose corporate clients include hospitals, manufacturers, real estate companies, and large-scale industrial and retail clients.

After a dormant period earlier in the COVID-19 pandemic, merger and acquisition activity has again accelerated in the promo products market.
