Allmade Plans Earth Day, Every Day Video Contest

The first-prize winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Honduras, where the apparel brand’s T-shirts are cut and sewn.

Allmade Apparel (asi/34341) wants apparel decorators to show off their sustainability.

The ethically and environmentally conscious blank-apparel supplier with an exclusive partnership with Top 40 supplier SanMar (asi/84863) is inviting printshops to participate in an Earth Day, Every Day video contest.

Allmade Earth Day

Allmade Apparel is holding a video contest for Earth Day to find out how apparel decorators celebrate Earth Day every day.

“We think Earth Day should be celebrated every day, so we’re asking decorators from all over the nation to show us how they take care of our planet,” said Laurel Hudson, communications director at Allmade Apparel. “We hope that printshops can learn from each other and even incorporate some ideas into their daily routines that other shops are doing.”

The rules of the contest are simple: Create a short video reel – between 15 seconds and one minute – and share it on TikTok and/or Instagram by April 21, with @allmadeapparel tagged in the video. Videos should also use the hashtag: #EarthDayWithAllmade. The Allmade team will reshare every video, and judges will choose their top three favorites.

Possible topics for videos include footage from a trash cleanup event with your staff, tips and tricks to stay sustainable year-round, or even a story of someone in the community making a difference for planet and people, according to Allmade.

Winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22. The first-place winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Honduras, where Allmade’s T-shirts are cut and sewn. Second place will receive a $1,000 credit for Allmade shirts. Third place will receive a $500 donation made in their name to the charity of their choice.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Allmade was started with the aim to create sustainable blank apparel ideal for decorators and to provide healthy jobs to workers around the world. The company’s tri-blend T-shirts are made with 50% Repreve recycled polyester, 25% organic cotton and 25% modal. The shirts save water, reduce a company’s carbon footprint and repurpose six water bottles per shirt, according to Allmade.
