AIA Corporation Names VP of Marketing

Promo products veteran Stacy Price steps into the new role.

There’s a new executive at AIA Corporation (asi/109480), the 16th-largest distributor in the promotional products industry.

Stacy Price will be stepping into the position of vice president of marketing. She will lead the marketing team with a focus on strategy development/execution, brand awareness, public relations and integrated marketing efforts. She will report to Katrina Willis, senior vice president of supplier relations and marketing.

“Marketing plays an integral role in the success of any business, but many small-business owners lack the bandwidth or time to execute a successful program,” said Nancy Schmidt, CEO of AIA. “Given Stacy’s extensive industry experience, she understands our distributors’ needs and will continue to advance AIA’s marketing capabilities to keep pace with evolving trends in social media, analytics, customer targeting and engagement, and sales and collateral materials.”

With nearly 30 years of marketing experience, Price has served in leadership and marketing roles at promo industry partnering community Facilisgroup, distributor Boost Promotional Branding (now part of Top 40 distributor HALO Branded Solutions [asi/356000]), and Top 40 distributor Staples Promotional Products (asi/120601).

In these roles, AIA said that Price generated digital marketing campaigns that led to double-digit sales growth, oversaw multiple e-commerce programs for enterprise and SMB clients alike, and developed effective corporate branding and messaging to drive sales and business development.

Going forward, Price will focus on helping AIA’s network of independent distributors strengthen their businesses and drive sales. She also will support AIA’s sales and business-development teams with marketing programs that increase awareness of the company.

“I look forward to shaping AIA’s marketing to deliver a connected brand experience through digital and traditional channels, as well as coaching and mentoring our high-performing team,” said Price, who has an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. “I am very impressed by AIA’s leadership team and inspired by their solid, focused and powerful vision for the company.”

Price, who is also certified by the Digital Marketing Institute and American Marketing Association in digital marketing, does not replace anyone. This is a new position, AIA said.

With reported 2020 fiscal year North American promotional product revenue of $146.2 million, AIA Corporation ranked 16th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
