It was a year ago that Block reappeared on the Power 50 list after an eight-year hiatus – another milestone in both a professional and personal comeback (the latter following a health scare years ago from cancer). The good vibes continued this year for Block and Touchstone. The company is undergoing a tremendous physical expansion into a brand new 400,000-square-foot facility in Fairfield, OH, as well as moving headquarters to a newly renovated, art deco-inspired city hall building north of Cincinnati. Block is also looking to build on 2021’s momentum (nearly 30% growth) by hiring Marty Engel, previously of CIC, as EVP of Sales. All the positive momentum causes Block to soar up eight places on this year’s list.
