Company Size: Large (100+ employees)
Location: Hollywood, FL
Work Model: Hybrid
Year Founded: 1993

Company Culture: Despite its size and international footprint, World Emblem (asi/98264) operates like one big family. “Our core values aren’t just words on the wall, but we practice them each day to drive business decisions,” says Clarissa Lopez, director of human resources. “We provide employees stability, tools, resources and support to develop and grow within the company.” Among employees’ favorite perks are holiday celebrations – held at each World Emblem site – where everyone receives gift cards and participates in raffles. Also popular is its “Hands on Deck” volunteer program which sponsors various corporate give-back initiatives and also allows employees to get up to two paid days off per year to volunteer with programs of their choice.

COVID Changes: During the pandemic, World Emblem adapted into a hybrid setup, with some employees in the office, some working fully from home and others doing a combination of the two. It’s a configuration the supplier plans to continue in the future. The company says it’s followed CDC guidelines to ensure that employees are safe and know their well-being is paramount. “Additionally, we continue to engage in activities that drive engagement, such as recognition programs, holiday celebrations, employee continuous development and compensation reviews to reward and motivate performance,” Lopez says.

Parting Tip: “A key is knowing what the current and future needs of the company are,” Lopez says, “and being able to attract employees that will play a key part as A players to the organization.”
