iPROMOTEu Names Director of Business Development

The Top 40 distributorship has hired industry veteran Jeff Marks to the role.

One of the biggest distributorships in the promotional products industry has a new director of business development.

Wayland, MA-headquartered iPROMOTEu (asi/232119) has hired Jeff Marks to the key leadership role. Marks’ responsibilities will center on helping distributors and salespeople in the iPROMOTEu network achieve their business goals. He’ll be part of an existing business development team that works to fuel growth and sustained success for iPROMOTEu affiliates nationwide.

“I am thrilled to enhance the already high-level industry knowledge and experience of our business development team with the addition of Jeff Marks,” said Bob Schwei, iPROMOTEu’s senior vice president of business development. “Jeff could have contributed his exceptional talents to any organization but wanted to tell his story as a former iPROMOTEu affiliate to continue helping promotional product distributors and salespeople achieve their business objectives.”

Marks has more than 30 years of promo products industry experience, executives said. He is the former owner of Promotional Considerations in Richmond, VA, and most recently served as vice president of business development for MSP Design Group (asi/466928) after selling his firm to MSP in 2020. He is also a charter member and former chairman of the Premier Promotional Group. He has served on various committees with industry trade association PPAI.

“I am beyond excited to join iPROMOTEu and share the company’s vision to help distributors grow their businesses quicky and profitably,” Marks said.

Ross Silverstein, iPROMOTEu’s founder/CEO and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people, believes Marks will be a difference-maker for the firm.

“The addition of another successful industry veteran such as Jeff Marks is further evidence of iPROMOTEu’s desire to be the best distributor organization in the promotional products industry,” Silverstein added.

Based on 2021 North American promo product revenue of $180 million, iPROMOTEu ranked 13th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributorships in the industry. iPROMOTEu’s network consists of more than 1,100 independent business owners and salespeople in the U.S. and Canada who affiliate with the distributorship.
