Zagwear Acquires NYC-Based Arrow Promotional

Zagwear is a promo distributorship headquartered in New York with offices around the world. Arrow has been in business for more than 60 years.

Zagwear (asi/365552), a New York-headquartered distributorship with offices around the globe and clients that include BMW, Google and other household names, has acquired Arrow Promotional (asi/124500), a distributor based in New York City that also has offices in the United Kingdom. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

Zagwear CEO Toby Zacks said Arrow has an impressive roster of clients in the financial industry – a fact that presents exciting growth opportunities.

“Acquiring Arrow Promotional gives us immediate access to growing our presence in the financial services industry, both here in the U.S. as well as through our U.K. and EMEA offices,” said Zacks. “This is a great fit for our expanding business.”

Going forward, Arrow Promotional will go to market under the Zagwear brand. Arrow’s offices in New York, Denver and the U.K. will be consolidated into Zagwear’s operations. Meanwhile, Arrow employees and company President Ed Strauss will be joining the Zagwear team.

Zagwear has already started integrating Arrow’s workflow, said Zacks, adding that he has known Strauss for years and that the pair began discussing joining forces in 2021.

“I admire what [Ed] and his wife Peggy have built, and we look forward to having them and the entire Arrow staff join the Zagwear team,” Zacks said. “Arrow’s insightful client development, expertise in product design, go-to-market strategy and unique product offerings will complement Zagwear’s vision well.”

Arrow has been in business for more than 60 years. “We’ve built strong bonds with our clients, whom I’m sure, along with Arrow’s employees, will quickly see the new possibilities this acquisition creates for them,” Strauss said. “This is an incredibly exciting new era for all our employees and customers.”

Zacks said Zagwear will expand Arrow’s resources by offering the firm’s customers the benefits of its proprietary technology, automation, creative services and global distribution.

“All Arrow customers will also have access to Zagwear’s full suite of offerings, which include branded merchandise, print services, print-on-demand, kitting, warehousing and fulfillment, and custom-designed and manufactured products,” Zagwear said in a statement.

Founded in 1995, Zagwear is headquartered just north of New York City in White Plains, NY. Beyond the U.K., the distributorship has global offices in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Other big-name Zagwear clients include General Mills, Nestlé and Meta, formerly known as Facebook.
