Lara was most recently vice president/director of sales for Roland DGA, which serves North and South America as the marketing, sales, distribution and service arm for Hamamatsu, Japan-based Roland DG Corp. Before that, Lara was director of sales for Roland DGA’s Latin America division.

“I am thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to serve as president of this truly incredible company,” Lara stated.

Lara is taking over as president for Andrew Oransky, who’d been serving as both president and CEO. Oransky will continue as CEO, providing strategic input. He’ll also remain a member of the Roland DG Corp. board.

Oransky had been president of Roland DGA since 2016. He became president/CEO in 2019 and a board member in March 2022.

“My appointment to the Roland DG board requires me to assume responsibility for overall sales and marketing within the global Roland DG organization, with a focus on crafting strategies and making decisions that will help the entire Roland DG global enterprise grow,” said Oransky. “Roland DGA requires full-time active management. I can’t think of anyone better suited than Amado to lead Roland DGA on a day-to-day basis and ensure we achieve our future milestones. There is no one I trust more to carry the company’s mission and vision forward.”

Lara said he’s excited to drive more success at Roland DGA following what executives described as a record year for sales. He said: “I hope to build upon the tremendous work that Andrew has done as president over the last six years and help lead Roland DGA to the next level.”
