The promotional products distributor has announced the hiring of Rick Low as division director of its Richmond, VA-headquartered office/operations.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Chuck and Rick,” said Zack Ottenstein, president of The Image Group. “Their experience and strong relationships will greatly benefit their teams. The Image Group differentiates itself by helping clients reach their most important audiences through easily used systems. We call it creating ‘Brand Magic,’ and I’m confident Chuck and Rick will serve as invaluable contributors to our efforts.”

Low takes over an office that serves more than 100 companies. He was previously a national sales manager at Epic International, a Cincinnati, OH-based company that offers recreational and hardware brands in the rewards/recognition/premium channel.

Currently on the board of the Incentive Federation and previously president of the Incentive Marketing Association, Low has what The Image Group described as extensive experience in the incentive and promo space. That includes time as president of a multi-line rep agency that specializes in repping retail brands in the corporate gifting and branded merch marketplaces.

“I feel fortunate to join The Image Group and am eager to support the company’s expansion in Richmond and beyond with outstanding employee recognition and sales-channel incentive solutions,” said Low.

Rounds’ previous roles include president of MT Business Technologies, which for a time was the largest dealer of Ricoh products in the United States, according to The Image Group. MT supported thousands of customers in Northern Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

“I have maintained a business relationship with The Image Group for over 20 years and already feel like a valued member of the team,” said Rounds. “I am excited to leverage my experience to generate increased value for our clients as marketing strategies increasingly rely on technology to propel businesses forward.”

The Image Group says it works with more than 700 companies nationwide.
