Charles River Apparel (asi/44620) has hired Kevin Crisafulli as director of customer care. Previously, he worked for HS Brands International as director of operations and strategic relationships.

International Coatings has introduced its new Cool White 7022 screen-printing ink, part of its FlexCure product group. The ink offers a flexible curing range, from a low 275 F to a standard 325 F. The low-cure, low-bleed ink works well on a variety of substrates and can be used on hard-to-print synthetics like nylon bags, nonwoven polypropylene and polyester sheathing.

Cap America (asi/43792) has appointed David Hoke as its new chief financial officer. Hoke, who has held several financial leadership positions at other companies, will lead Cap America’s finance strategy and oversee financial operations including budgeting, planning and accounting.

JERZEES is collaborating with decoration consultant Marshall Atkinson for a new video series, “Adventures in Apparel Decorating.” In the first episode, Atkinson visits Eagle Promotions in Las Vegas to show viewers how to make a distressed metal texture print.

Cintas (asi/162167) announced it launched the 2019 Design Collective by Cintas catalog.

Minuteman Press of Fayetteville (asi/377780) recently moved to its new location at 1240 Highway 54 West, Suite 300, Fayetteville, GA. “We recently relocated our business due to demand for more space resulting from growth of the company,” said Rex Green, co-owner of Minuteman Press of Fayetteville.

HanesBrands (asi/59528) announced an agreement with the University of Cincinnati, in collaboration with its exclusive trademark licensing agent IMG College Licensing, to serve as the university’s primary licensee for apparel products.

Madeira USA now offers thread collections in three sizes of either 5,500-yard cones or 1,100-yard mini-snap cones. The collections contain 12, 16 or 48 cones of best-selling colors and are available in classic rayon and 100% polyester. The mini cones are packaged in a plastic carry case, and 48-cone thread collections come with a wooden display rack. The company also offers embroidery starter packs in three sizes for those new to the industry.

ColDesi announces the release of a new driver for its Print Optimizer RIP software meant to enhance the performance of its Digital HeatFX T-shirt transfer printers. Print Optimizer reduces the amount of toner used, laying down precise amounts of each color, in the right spots, to improve the feel of the transfer on the shirt. A new feature called Dots and Strips adds negative space on a pixel-by-pixel basis that improves washability and saves ink.

Cap America (asi/43792) donated more than 10,000 fleece caps to a Fredericktown, MO, coat drive and the local Salvation Army. The caps will be given to people in need to keep them warm during the bitter Missouri winter.

GSG offers the BBC Aeolus forced-air conveyor dryer, featuring BBC’s proprietary heating elements and exclusive watt-density algorithm to provide even edge-to-edge ink curing. Brother DTG offers the T-Lock cap platen, making it easy to digitally print the front crown and most of the bill on most styles of structured and unstructured caps. It works on all models of GT printers.
