During 18 years in the promo industry, Nicole Campbell, president of Florida-based distributor Active Promotions (asi/470870), never had an order over $300,000. That is, until recently.

“I got an email from an existing client looking for 200,000 shirts,” says an astonished Campbell. “And the quote was $1.3 million!”

Incredulous as she was, the order was secured with very few challenges. When the shirts arrived at her printer, she just had to see them. “I drove out to Tallahassee, and the printer asked if I wanted to take a photo with the boxes,” says Campbell. “With the boxes? I’m taking a photo on top of the boxes!”
