Crystal D (asi/47759) announced that it reached its 2017 community outreach goal of collectively volunteering 1,000 hours over the past 12 months. 

Heritage Sportswear (asi/60582) has expanded its 2018 offering to include Callaway headwear. Heritage now stocks a Callaway Heritage cap, Callaway Tour Performance cap, and Callaway Liquid Metal cap.

Hirsch Gift (asi/61005) announced that Shelley Stevens, Jeff Stevens and Mark Fulwider of Wesco Marketing were named its 2017 Multi-Line Representatives of the Year. 

Major Business Systems, a subsidiary of Top 40 supplier Ennis (asi/52493), is relocating production operations from a leased facility in Hillsborough, NC, to an Ennis-owned facility in Chatham, VA. Major’s customer service team, which has been located in Chatham, will stay intact. All phone and fax numbers, as well as email addresses, will remain the same. Major does not anticipate any delays in production during the move, which is scheduled to conclude in March.

Stormtech Performance Apparel (asi/89864) has announced that beginning with its new Spring 2018 collection, it has eliminated environmentally harmful perfluorinated carbons (PFCs) from its water repellent apparel products.

WOWLine (asi/98360) has announced the winners of its 2017 Sales Achievement Awards: Beata Miller of JSA Reps was named Most Valuable Salesperson; Kate Connolly of Kateco Marketing was named 2017 Salesperson of the Year; and David Hunzelman of DHM Marketing was also named 2017 Salesperson of the Year.

Boost Technologies, doing business as Shumsky (asi/326300) and Boost Rewards, will operate under its new company name – Boost Engagement – effective immediately. The company will continue to operate in its current structure. Other than the name change, there is no change in ownership, staff, office locations or leadership.

Cintas (asi/162167) has announced that its uniform rental location in Austin, TX, received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

E.A. Dion (asi/51246) is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018. In 1968, company founder Edward A. Dion, Sr. started producing and marketing jewelry from the back room of a plumbing supply store in Attleboro Falls, MA. Today, the company is headquartered in a 30,000 square foot facility in the Attleboro Industrial Park and employs approximately 80 people.

Taylor Communications (asi/333647) has achieved G7 Master Printer certification of its integrated color management system for producing digital durable labels at its plant in Radcliff, KY.

Visstun (asi/93975) has increased its production capacity with the addition of a ninth Paper Machinery Corp. (PMC) 2000S cup forming machine. In addition to increased capacity, the installation of the new machine also improves scheduling flexibility.

Students selected for this year’s honor each received $1,000 to assist in educational expenses such as books, meals and other college-related costs.
