Harland Clarke Elevates Schmidt to CEO

San Antonio-based Harland Clarke (asi/219943) has announced that company president Jana Schmidt has been elevated to CEO. Schmidt has played a key role at the firm since returning in November 2017, overseeing the distributor’s alliances with Walmart and Costco as they entered the promotional products market.

Schmidt’s background also includes serving as CEO of global energy and sustainability management company, Ecova (now ENGIE Insight). Earlier in her career, for an extended period of time, she served as executive vice president of sales and marketing for Harland Clarke.
