Jay Reimers, a legendary multiline rep in the promotional products industry, passed away on July 31 in St. Louis. He was 90.

Reimers worked for Scheaffer Pen for many years before becoming vice president of sales for Krane Manufacturing Co. and its subsidiary Garrick Glass. Then he launched his own multiline rep company, Jay Reimers & Associates, which he ran for 25 years.

“Jay knew every customer’s birthday, as well as their wife and children’s names,” said Keith Schroepfer, founder of Bridge Marketing Services (asi/821030). “He had thousands of friends and never forgot any of them.”

Reimers is survived by his wife Sue and his son John.

No funeral or memorial services have been scheduled.
