Next Level Apparel dropped two spots in this year’s list, posting a 3.6% revenue decline from 2021 to 2022. The Torrance, CA-based apparel supplier attributes the dip to a slower economy in the back half of 2022.
Still, Next Level has been making bold moves to shore up its position: naming Michael Alexander as president in February and taking a variety of steps to ensure its supply chain is free of forced labor. The company is transitioning to recycled polyester, switched to U.S.-grown cotton and partnered with a company to help nearshore its fabric supply.
