After sliding last year, Tekweld moved up one spot on this year’s list after a strong revenue increase of 23.8%. In May 2022, the supplier leased a 104,000-square-foot building close to the company’s headquarters in Hauppage, NY. In personnel news, Gregg Szpicek rejoined the company in August as vice president of business development after a six-year hiatus, and is now overseeing sales for the company after Ray Rodriguez, the VP of sales and marketing who held the role for nearly seven years, resigned in June. And Claire Ashford, southwest regional sales manager for the company, was named ASI Media’s 2023 Supplier Salesperson of the Year.
