The New Jersey-based distributorship dropped two places as Counselor estimates that annual sales were flat. Still, the future for the company is poised to change significantly. Longtime industry leader Jeff Lederer spearheads an investment firm, GIG Myron Holdings Inc., that acquired Myron in May. Lederer, former CEO/owner of past Top 40 supplier Prime Line, has plans to turn Myron into a resurgent force. “Myron has not fared well,” said Lederer in a podcast interview with Counselor after the announcement. “Its recent history has been one of nonexistent profit and tight cash … but we know what needs to happen to really restore the business to the glory days that once were the case with this 75-year-old family company. We’re going to make it happen.”
