Though it drops from the number-one spot it occupied for the past two years, HALO is among the first two Top 40 distributors ever to generate $1 billion in annual sales. The Sterling, IL-based company achieved a 22.5% year-over-year revenue increase in 2022 through adding new customers and robust organic growth, along with the high-profile acquisition of former Top 40 distributor BrandVia (asi/145037) in May 2022.
Led by CEO Marc Simon, a perennial member of Counselor’s Power 50, HALO made significant strides on ESG efforts. Highlights included increasing diversity spend by 14% over the previous year and committing to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to reach Net Zero emissions by 2040.
