The Illinois-based distributor (whose full name is Integrated Merchandising Solutions) grew sales by 5.1% last year. “IMS enjoyed continued new business growth in 2022 from Fortune 500 clients across all verticals: consumer packaged goods, quick service restaurant, retail, AlcBev, energy and pharmaceutical,” says Daniella Saguy, VP, account development. Large event executions, on-site activations, new brand launches, employee appreciation initiatives and acquisitions were all critical to that growth, she adds. For 2023, Saguy says that company metrics are continuing on “a healthy upward trend” and IMS is investing heavily in technology, notably e-commerce and workflow solutions. Last fall IMS hired Terry Rowinski as COO; the veteran exec was most recently the president and COO of a healthcare payment technology firm.
