Notable sales of PPE and sanitizer didn’t offset Evans’ overall decline of 33% in 2020, pushing the supplier down seven spots on this year’s list. The company did earn Counselor Distributor Choice Awards for both housewares and pet accessories, and has implemented a “3-5-7” production plan on all catalog quantity purchase orders to help alleviate distributors’ issues with delayed deliveries. Evans also has a production facility in Nogales, Mexico — one of a growing number of suppliers that are tapping into the country.
