In less than 10 years, ASI’s five trade magazines have been honored with over 100 journalism awards, including prestigious awards from American Business Media, the American Society of Business Publication Editors and Folio magazine. ASI magazines are the only industry publications to ever win a national Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism award. Considered "the Pulitzer Prize of business media," the Neal Awards recognize the best in business-to-business editorial achievements and are B-to-B's most prestigious and sought-after editorial honors.
Stitches® magazine was honored in 2014 with a Neal Award for its "State of the Industry" issue and then again in 2015, when it won for “Best Cross-Platform Package.” Also in 2015, senior writer Theresa Hegel won “Best Range of Work by a Single Author.”
Wearables® won the “Best Subject Related Package” award for the October 2014 cover story entitled “The T-Shirt That Thinks.”
Counselor® magazine was a 2015 finalist for their coverage of the Best Places to Work Road Tour 2014 and their State of the Industry issue, which provides readers with in-depth industry statistics.
Advantages® was a 2015 finalist for the “Sales Boost” department and continues to celebrate new products, ideas and sales strategies within the industry.
Supplier Global Resource™, our global magazine dedicated to providing suppliers with international commerce news, won a 2011 Neal Award for outstanding journalism.
In 2016, ASI received the Best Pennsylvania Employer award.
Since 2013, ASI has held the title for Best Place to Work for Working Mothers according to Calkins Media, the company that hosts the Best Places to Work contest every year.
From 2012 – 2015, we have won various other titles such as Best Large Employer, Best Place to Work for New Grads and Most Family Friendly Place to Work.
The Best Places to Work awards are distributed based on the results of employee surveys that are conducted on a voluntary basis.
ASI Show Chicago earned a ranking on the Trade Show Executive (TSE) magazine’s list of 50 fastest-growing shows in the U.S. for growing its net square feet of paid exhibit space. ASI’s Chicago show took place at McCormick Place and featured 750 exhibiting companies – including numerous Counselor Top 40 suppliers. Total distributor attendance was more than 4,300, from distributor firms based in 42 states and eight countries, an increase of over 3.5% from 2013. In addition, the show floor featured a “Signage + Decoration Pavilion” launched in partnership with ST Media Group as a way to showcase decoration and signage vendors.
