Stahls’ TV has launched a new weekly video series, “Project Press It,” which offers a heads-up on trends and techniques every Thursday.

Stahls' is offering 10% off CAD-COLOR Express Print heat transfer material in 20-, 30- and 54-inch-wide rolls this month.

Mimaki USA, manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, has made organizational changes: Yasuhiro Haba is president; Ken VanHorn is vice president, marketing and operations; Shinsuke Oota is general manager, service. A new business planning division was also created, to oversee sales and operations in the Americas.

Roland DGA (asi/18201) is offering limited-time promotions, which end June 30, on some of its printers. The SOLJET EJ-640 printer and the Pro 4XR-640 printer/cutter are available for $23,995, a $6,000 savings. The VersaUV LEF-12 benchtop  UV flatbed printer is available for $14,995, a $3,000 savings, and the LEF-20 for $20,995, a $5,000 savings. Also, Roland DGA’s VersaUV LEJ-640FT UV flatbed printer was recognized by the International Sign Association (ISA) as one of the sign and graphics industry’s most innovative products for 2016.

Transfer Express (asi/91804) is offering a free webinar in May on how to quickly and easily create art for heat printing with the free Easy View online designer. The webinar is scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT May 12.

GSG, the wholesale distributor of consumable supplies and equipment for apparel decorators, has promoted Rodney Williams to executive vice president. The company also hired Mark Suhadolnik as textile application specialist. In addition, GSG is expanding its training offerings by partnering with Lon Winters, printer and consultant with Graphic Elephants. GSG’s May educational class schedule is available online.  

HanesBrands is offering a double cash rebate – 20 cents per piece, instead of 10 – in its Hanes4Education program for all qualified orders of Hanes and Champion printed apparel from a screen-print supplier until June 30. The ongoing cash-rebate program sends checks directly to K-12 schools designated by the customer. The brand also announces that it has earned the partner-of-the-year award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program for the seventh consecutive year.

World Emblem International (asi/98264) has relocated its Mexico plant to a new 125,000-square-foot location, doubling its manufacturing footprint in the country. The company added almost 300 embroidery heads to the facility.

InkSoft, which makes e-commerce and business management software for decorators, has added Mary Stanislao in the technical support department. Raj Devaraj joins as senior QA automation developer.

Roland DG Corp., parent company of wide-format inkjet printer supplier Roland DGA, announces changes and additions to its board of directors. Among the changes: Hidenori Fujioka, previously director and executive vice president of the company was named representative director and president of Roland DG. Roland DGA announces the opening of its East Coast Imagination Center in Wilmington, MA, near Boston. The 3,500-square-foot facility will serve as a product demonstration and application display venue, as well as a training site.

CustomInk, the online custom apparel provider, is launching two new advertising campaigns, “For All of Life’s Events” and “Steve the Spokestopus.” The campaigns were created to showcase the central role custom T-shirts play in marking life events.
