Toddy Gear Promotes Viktorya Kooistra to Marketing VP

Kooistra has over two decades of experience in marketing communications, branding and product management.

Toddy Gear (asi/91411) says it’s poised for growth, thanks to the promotion of Viktorya Kooistra to vice president of marketing.

Kooistra has been with the Bolingbrook, IL-headquartered supplier since 2013, previously serving as director of marketing and communications. According to Toddy Gear, Kooistra played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s brand positioning and spearheading its marketing initiatives. She has overseen every aspect of Toddy Gear’s marketing operations, thanks to her extensive background in marketing communications, creative development, social media, public relations, trade shows and events. The company noted that her guidance has helped it achieve growth in lead generation and increased engagement across social media platforms.

Kooistra holds an MBA in marketing from Roosevelt University. Prior to joining Toddy Gear, she worked in marketing and product management for Peerless-AV, a company that designs and manufactures AV solutions.

Last month, Emery, who’s been an executive at Toddy Gear since 2014, acquired a majority stake in the company, along with his business partner Isaac Delgado. At the time, Emery said he was “thrilled to lead Toddy Gear into this exciting new chapter.”

Toddy Gear offers a range of tech-focused and lifestyle products, including microfiber cleaning cloths, power banks, wireless chargers, desktop accessories and mousepads. Last year, the supplier made a sustainability commitment, transitioning many of its microfiber products to recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET).
