With the help of Vantage Apparel, Wearables is introducing a group of students at Moore College of Art & Design to the world of decorated apparel. Six juniors in the school's fashion design program are competing in our new Fashion Faceoff competition, for a top prize of $250. We've asked the contestants to create an original screen-printing or embroidery design for Vantage to produce on one of its blank garments. In addition, the students are submitting complete male and female athleisure looks they've been working on throughout the school year.
The garments will be runway-ready in time for the school's May fashion show, but for now, they are still works in progress. Check out the below slideshow to see junior Ariana Rodriguez's sketches and athleisure looks so far.
