City of Hope: How Promo & Nonprofits Are Fighting COVID-19 Together

In the wake of COVID-19, the promo industry has drastically changed as businesses and product needs adapt to the new normal. “Face mask,” “hand sanitizer” and “bandanna” search terms have secured the top three spots in ESP as of April 2020. As such, many suppliers are pivoting their production to fulfill the need for these life-saving items.

One such supplier is Next Level Apparel, which is now producing a line of face masks and neck gaiters to help distributors and decorators like you secure sales, and your clients keep staff and customers safe. For example, this California-based supplier now offers an assortment of protective products, such as Eco Face Masks (made from the same sustainable and reusable material as their Eco Performance Tees). The Eco Face Mask (M100) has received an astounding 93.6% Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) rating to protect against particles and viruses. This is an almost unheard of rating for a non-medical mask which was tested by an accredited, independent laboratory using the STP0005 standard based on ASTM. Neck gaiters and masks made from their Next Level Cotton, CVC and Tri-Blend fabrics are also being produced due to demand.

There’s even more good news to highlight. Next Level Apparel is proud to partner with City of Hope, a comprehensive research and treatment center for cancer and other serious diseases, including COVID-19. This organization works directly with COVID-19 patients and is among those working on a vaccine, and a portion of all face mask and neck gaiter sales from Next Level Apparel go straight toward the important work they are doing.

Additionally, Next Level Apparel has donated a variety of crucial personal protective equipment (PPE) products to City of Hope as well, including 2,500 KN95 masks, 20,000 surgical masks and 50,000 units of apparel so healthcare staff can change into clean clothing before returning home to their families.
