What’s new in apparel today? Fun, fashionable trends that meet your clients’ demands. Here are three trends that are resonating with users right now.
- More color in organic styles. Color forecasters from Pantone Color Institute describe the palette for 2016 as unisex: “Colors this season transcend cultural and gender norms… For Spring 2016, there are truly no perceivable distinctions in color choices between the men’s and women’s collections, both of which focus on a desire to breathe and reflect, then play.”
- A classic T-shirt silhouette. Keep the fabric soft and eco-friendly, fabricated from 100% Organic Fine Jersey cotton to flatter a feminine figure. Shop trending colors to stay relevant. Also, a tip for this trend: 100% organic fine jersey cotton offers superior screen printing results.
- Sublimation-ready garments. Large prints and all-over designs are an enduring trend. Keep it fresh by showing buyers new styles in lightweight 100% polyester garments with a fine yarn count. Another tip: Don’t be afraid of lots of color and larger designs with detailed artwork — sublimation can do it. The Wearables Sales Forecast for 2016 shows that 34% of decorators and distributors used sublimation in 2015.
