Advantages Magazine Announces New Product Showcase WinnersTREVOSE, PA—(March 31, 2004)— Promotional products suppliers displayed hundreds of new products in the largest Advantage New Product Showcase in ASI Show! history, and distributors voted on their favorites during The ASI Show! Las Vegas, held March 14-16. Hundreds of votes were cast in seven product categories, and the favorites were recently selected to receive a feature article, complete with product photos, in an upcoming issue of Advantage magazine.
The Showcase, initiated last year at all ASI Shows!, was located at the entrance to the exhibit hall and allowed distributors to preview supplier products. According to Matthew Cohn, ASI Show! President, “In a short time, the Advantage Showcase has proven to be one of the most successful and well-liked features of The ASI Shows!, providing distributors a sneak peek of what they’ll see on the show floor and giving suppliers an opportunity to set-off their new and innovative products. Participation from both suppliers and distributors has been phenomenal.”
Hundreds of products were displayed in the showcase, making the 2004 Las Vegas showcase the largest in ASI Show! history. “We found the New Product Showcase to be extremely effective in marketing our new product,” said Cindy Weinbrandt of Blue Thunder Products, LLC asi/40661. “It appeared the distributors would preview this showcase and then immediately visit the corresponding booth.”
Distributors were impressed by the range of products, and many voiced that they felt better equipped to present their clients with innovative ideas. “It’s rare to find true innovative new products, and that’s what I’ve found at the New Product Showcase,” said Reggie Gonzalez of Geiger Inc., asi/202900.
