TREVOSE, PA – August 30, 2011 – The Advertising Specialty Institute today announced significant enhancements to ESP Web's user interface to improve speed and workflow, making the industry’s most accurate and up-to-date supplier and product database even faster and easier to navigate.
The key improvements to the interface are a direct result of feedback from members, ASI’s Technology Advisory Board, performance focus groups conducted at every ASI show and analysis of usage patterns.
“Searching products on ESP is now dramatically faster,” said ASI’s vice president of digital user experience, Rob Watson. “This latest system upgrade will greatly impact how quickly distributors can service their clients, making it easier to find the things they need most to help close more business.”
Altogether, ASI has added 15 new features and numerous improvements to ESP Web, including:
- Simplified user interface. Redesign of page views now makes navigation more intuitive, faster and easier.
- Streamlined experience. Overall speed of all screens enhanced.
- Updated product results screen. Complete product results screen redesign makes products stand out, with quick navigation to find the product details users need.
“We’re delighted to announce another round of significant enhancements to the revolutionary ESP Web, all of which will leave users with more time for selling,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. “ASI is always looking for ways to make exceptional products even better and to incorporate member suggestions with the ultimate aim being a simpler, more intuitive user experience.”
Today’s ESP Web upgrade follows recent enhancements to ESP Online, the PC-based version of ESP. ASI supports both ESP Web and ESP Online enhancements and improvements and anticipates further improvements throughout the remainder of this year, into 2012 and beyond.
