Effective December 31, 2019, Nathanson will step down from his role, but continue consulting the company thereafter. In 1987, Nathanson founded Target Marketing, which merged with The Image Group in 2017.

“This is an important milestone that honors our company’s past and its future,” Jon Levine, CEO of The Image Group, said in a press release. “We are committed to building a durable, fast-growth company with differentiated services and strategies for all our partners. I am deeply grateful for Jay’s contributions and friendship over many years. His contributions to the promotional products industry leave an admirable legacy. I am also thrilled to welcome Zack to our management team.”

Ottenstein joined The Image Group in 2016 and created the company’s Senior Living division, which now provides services to more than 1,000 senior housing communities across the country. As executive vice president, he will focus primarily on leading The Image Group’s Senior Living business, which has enjoyed more than 50% annual growth under his leadership. Additionally, he will take a leadership role in the development of The Image Group’s marketing, sales and HR strategies.
