HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000) has received an award in eBusiness Strategy and New Customer Acquisition through ANA Business Marketing, the B2B arm of the Association of National Advertisers.

HanesBrands (asi/59528) is donating more than 1 million items of underwear and activewear to assist hurricane victims in Florida and Puerto Rico. The company is also using its operations in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to supply essentials to Puerto Rico employees.

HandStands Promo (asi/59525) provided a newly founded elementary school in the Salt Lake City, UT, area with custom-printed “Mouse Mats” with their school mascot on them. This donation helped supply all faculty members with a mousepad for their classroom for the new school year.

ASI is pledging $10,000 to match cash contributions to either of two specific charitable organizations helping those affected by the most recent natural disasters, a continuation of a $25,000 matching fund drive for Texas and the Gulf that’s already raised a total of $77,060. Hirsch Gift (asi/61005) has announced an agreement with Corkcicle to become the exclusive supplier of Corkcicle items in the promotional products industry.

Jack Nadel International (asi/279600) has announced that Julie Nadel, wife of the late Jack Nadel, has pledged $1 million to the Santa Barbara City College’s School of Business & Entrepreneurship. The endowment fund established with this gift at the SBCC Foundation will support, in perpetuity, the needs of the programs and initiatives of all academic disciplines that comprise the SBCC business division, which has been re-named the Jack & Julie Nadel School of Business & Entrepreneurship.

HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000) announced the donation of $62,620 to the Justin J. Watt Foundation, earmarking the funds for Hurricane Harvey Flood Relief Fund to aid people in the Houston area. The donation reflects 267 people from HALO and Michael C. Fina Recognition contributing a total of $31,310, matched by HALO. Said HALO CEO Marc Simon: “After we addressed the immediate needs of our valued sales and support staff in the region, we researched charities that would provide the most impactful relief and selected the JJ Watt Foundation. We announced our intent to our staff and sales force and the response was overwhelming.”

HanesBrands (asi/59528) has announced that it is donating more than five trailer loads of underwear and activewear to assist victims of flooding from Hurricane Harvey in Texas and the Gulf Coast. Hanes is partnering with nonprofit charity Delivering Good and North Carolina-based transportation company Glen Raven Logistics to deliver more than one million items of underwear, socks, intimate apparel, T-shirts and activewear fleece valued at more than $2 million. The company is also donating $25,000 to the American Red Cross.
