Edwards Garment Promotes Brett Garran to VP of Sales

Garran has played a key role in driving growth at the Top 40 supplier since joining the company nearly a decade ago.

Over the course of more than nine years at Edwards Garment (asi/51752), Brett Garran has increased the Top 40 supplier’s profile and played a lead role in expanding sales by growing accounts under his care by double digits each year.

That performance is being rewarded.

The Kalamazoo, MI-headquartered company has announced that Garran is being promoted from national sales director to vice president of sales.

“Brett’s successful history of growing sales and visibility gives Edwards the confidence that he’ll continue to lead efforts to grow and be a major player in the corporate apparel industry,” the company said in a statement.

In his new role, Garran will guide all sales efforts for the Edwards catalog division, including directly overseeing Edwards’ territory managers and leading account-management efforts across all markets. He will collaborate with customer service, marketing, merchandising and the firm’s Vancouver, BC-based EdwardsX custom division. With this promotion, Garran also joins the leadership team at Edwards.

Garran’s past experience includes time as regional and national sales manager at Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390).

Leadership moves at Edwards Garment have been making headlines of late. In September, the firm promoted Jose Gomez from president to president/CEO as former CEO Gary Schultz eased out of the role and into chairman of the board.

Based on reported North American promotional product revenue of $70.3 million, Edwards Garment ranked 20th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.

Privately held and family-owned since 1867, Edwards Garment provides uniform programs, including product, decoration and fulfillment services. Its apparel is used in industries including assisted living, healthcare, private security, transit, food service, retail and casinos.
