Ariel Premium Supply Donates Nearly $25K to Environmental Nonprofits

The Top 40 supplier is giving $1 from every distributor order to help protect rainforests and oceans.

When it comes to helping protect the environment, Ariel Premium Supply (asi/36730) is matching money to its values.

Since launching in August this year, the Top 40 promotional products supplier’s new sustainability and social responsibility program has raised $24,782 for two eco-focused nonprofits – Rainforest Trust and The Ocean Cleanup.

Ariel Premium generated the give-back funds by dedicating $1 from every order placed by a distributor to the charitable initiative.

"We are very pleased to do what small part we can for the environment and preservation," said Yuhling Lu, co-owner of Ariel Premium. "It also allows distributors to participate and contribute to these causes through their purchasing power.”

Ariel Premium plans to continue the donations. The Missouri-headquartered supplier said that the funds are shared monthly between Rainforest Trust and The Ocean Cleanup.

Founded in 1988, Rainforest Trust works, as its name implies, to protect the world’s rainforest habitats. Those efforts include striving to save thousands of species from extinction and protecting the biodiversity of tropical ecosystems. Meanwhile, The Ocean Cleanup develops engineering projects that aim to defeat plastic pollution in Earth’s oceans.

Based on reported 2021 North American promo product revenue of $61.8 million, Ariel Premium Supply ranked 22nd on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
