Top 40 supplier Sweda Co. LLC (asi/90305) announced that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with luggage manufacturer Eagle Creek. Effective January 1, 2017, Sweda will offer the Carlsbad, CA, company’s entire line of luggage, packing organizers and travel systems to the promotional industry.

“We have been fortunate in the last six years to secure premiere brands by selecting only those partners that share our ideals, quality standards and innovative style,” said Kellie Claudio, senior vice president of sales and marketing in a statement. “Eagle Creek brings to Sweda a focus on outfitting the traveler to help make their experience better and the discoveries greater. We are so excited to offer this new brand for our customers.”

Jeff Sermak, sales manager for specialty markets at Sweda, is equally optimistic about the new partnership. “Eagle Creek recognizes the powerful reach that Sweda has in the promotional products channel,” he said in a statement. “The multi-channel experience on this Sweda team aligns with our intense desire to give the consumer the best experience possible while using our gear.”

Sweda is the 19th-largest supplier in the industry, with reported 2015 revenue of $89.8 million.
