Dallas-based drinkware supplier Titan Custom Products (asi/91416) announced Wednesday that it has acquired New Jersey-based supplier VisionUSA (asi/80060). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
After about 30 years in the Garden State, VisionUSA will relocate its manufacturing, printing and sales efforts to Titan’s Dallas facilities. Even so, VisionUSA’s website, phone, emails and ASI number will remain the same, company principals told Counselor. VisionUSA partners Michael Fishman and Mark Weissman will help guide the transition. Titan said additional key personnel from VisionUSA will be retained.
VisionUSA is known for its full line of proprietary USA-made deskware and drinkware. Over the years, VisionUSA has earned 18 industry-related supplier awards, including recognitions for product innovation, customer service and product decoration.
Despite the record of success, Weissman and Fishman felt the time was right to sell. In Titan and its president Felix Soliz, the pair felt they’d found an entrepreneur who could take VisionUSA forward. “My partner Mark Weissman and I were looking to slow things down a bit after nearly 40 years in the industry,” said Fishman. “We have had a long positive relationship with Felix Soliz and know he and his organization will continue to provide award-wining decorating and service to distributors nationwide.”
Founded in 2000, Titan aims to ensure a smooth transition. “This is such a natural fit for us,” said Soliz. “The drinkware category is our passion and a space we have been in and had much success with.”
