Stuttgart, AR-based Drum-Line Inc. (asi/50873) has announced an agreement to acquire Coshocton, OH-based Elliott Calendar Company, also known as Hour Glass Line. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Drum-Line has been expanding our calendar line for the last five years,” Amberlea Barnes, CEO of Drum-Line, told Counselor. “Elliott offered many similar styles of calendars and was a natural expansion. Elliott and Drum-Line’s print and production capabilities are also similar. Drum-Line is adding some equipment to further expand into large format calendars offered by Elliott.”

Barnes said that Elliott Calendar’s production and customer service will be moved to Drum-Line’s factory, and that consolidation should be complete by the end of April. As a result, most Hour Glass calendar styles will be added to Drum-Line’s product offerings.

Elliott Calendar is one of the oldest manufacturers of promotional products, specializing in calendars since the late 1800s.

Founded in 1928, Drum-Line is a supplier of American-made paper promotional products, including journals, notebooks, calendars and planners.
