“It was a great event where we could honor our most successful people,” Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma, told Counselor yesterday. “Having all of these million-dollar producers in one place was extremely motivating and energizing for everyone.”
Muzzillo said that as a group, the company’s more than 100 million-dollar producers represent about a quarter of a billion dollars in total revenue. “Where else can distributor owners and industry suppliers network with a successful group of people like that?” he asked. “It was great for us to be able to honor these people, and the networking among the group was really impressive.”
For owners that made the Million Dollar Club, especially those achieving membership for the first time, the trip represented a culmination of a lot of hard work. “Getting that Million Dollar Club jacket put over your shoulders for the first time is an incredible experience,” said TC Berry, owner of Proforma TaCaBu in Brookshire, TX. “When I first joined Proforma my sales were less than $200,000. Now, just five years later, with Proforma’s marketing programs, back-office support and an incredible vendor network, I’ve surpassed $1 million in sales.”
Proforma’s Million Dollar Club was launched in 1990 to recognize the company’s owners who exceeded $1 million in annual sales. The club now has more than 15 members that exceed $5 million in yearly revenues. Overall, Proforma reported to Counselor that it recorded 2013 North American ad specialty revenues of $348 million, an increase of 8% over 2012. Muzzillo told Counselor yesterday that his growth goal for 2014 is for the company to increase its sales by $100 million. The company’s Million Dollar Club trip for 2015 is scheduled for March 12-15 at the Terranea resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
