The St Regis Group of Companies has agreed to merge with K&R New York (asi/63770). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal also includes supplier Promobilia (asi/79902), which K&R acquired in 2013.
K&R’s production staff and senior management, including President Merrick Falkenstein and Promobilia’s Director of Business Development Peggy Eng, will remain in place. The supplier will move its operations to St Regis’ recently expanded 150,000 square-foot manufacturing facility. The company’s ASI number and contact information will remain.
“This is an exciting day for the K&R team and we are thrilled to be joining forces with St Regis,” said Merrick. “Bringing these two organizations together will allow us tremendous opportunities to expand our market share and focus on what we do best; providing our loyal distributors with the most innovative products and the best customer service in our industry.”
The St Regis Group is comprised of multiple supplier companies, including St. Regis (asi/84592), R.S. Owens (asi/75530), Prestige Glass (asi/79403) and many more.
“We just recently cut the ribbon on our recently completed expansion, and we're positioning ourselves for future growth, so the timing could not have been better,” said Richard Firkser, CEO and president of the St Regis Group. “Our two organizations complement each other nicely and this deal greatly enhances our competitive edge in the promotional industry. This merger ultimately provides our customers access to a larger, more diverse product range delivered with the same excellent service and quality they’ve come to expect from both St Regis and K&R”.
K&R was started in 1993 as a two-person operation and has grown to 180 employees, offering a full array of products including drinkware, bags, lifestyle products and much more. Promobilia was established in 1999 as a direct custom importer.
